Hi, there! I’m 36 years old, but I’ve already experienced the first signs of early menopause. I still have my periods, but they aren’t regular. I had my last menstruation nearly 2 months ago. I think it’s a hereditary issue as my mum had her periods stopped when she was 38. She gave birth to me when she was 29, but I didn’t manage to do this. My gyny says that DE IVF would be my only chance to get pregnant. I feel really desperate about this. I want to conceive and give birth to my child naturally. Are there any ladies with early menopause here? How did you manage to conceive?

Hi, OP. Firstly, I’m really sorry to hear about your health issues. I think if you still have periods there is some chances for you to get pregnant. Hun, did your gyny ask you to do any hormone tests or ultrasound checks? What were the results? DE IVF may be a nice chance for you to get pregnant, but if I were you, I would try with my own eggs first. At any rate, I wish you good luck in your DE IVF.

Hi, there! OP, I was in the same boat like you. My gyny diagnosed me with a low ovarian reserve when I was in my 30s. Firstly, I took some hormone medicines to make me ovulate, but it didn’t help. I had some acupuncture and massage to boost my fertility, but again it didn’t help too. Finally, I consulted RE and had two cycles of DE. I managed to conceive after the second one.

Hi, there. I consulted RE the other days. He asked me to do some tests. The AMH test was rather low and FSH was rather high. My ultrasound check showed me that I don’t ovulate. I just took some medicine to make my periods come, but I didn’t ovulate. My doc says that I do have some chances to conceive naturally. However, with DE IVF I have better chances to do it…

I think you are the one who must take a decision in this situation. If your doc says, that you still have a chance to conceive naturally, you should take it. Why not??? We decided to apply for DE IVF as I wanted to be a mum very much. I was sick and tired of everything. Just trust your gut, and you’ll know what to do. Good luck in whatever you choose! Xxx
